Ceremonial Sound:
Devotional Music Gatherings
Our music gatherings are intimate ceremonial evenings held with the intention of connecting deeper to ourselves, to the Divine, and to a collective heart space, through devotional song.
The spirit of the gatherings is rooted in a universal human heart — honouring the roots of diverse spiritual traditions while recognising the deeper unity that connects them all.
One dream for the healing of humanity,
one sacred prayer for all Life,
one shared Heart,
beyond any single name for God.
The evenings are guided by Amy on guitar and harmonium, alongside Nelson on drum, mbira and percussion.
Together we share songs from different spiritual traditions and cultures around the world, often in other languages. Music includes ancestral chants, kirtan mantra, Amazonian medicine songs, shamanic sound, and sometimes even religious hymns.
We welcome you to join us, around our shared altar and fire, to share your presence, voice and prayers.
There are rattles, shakers and other simple percussion available for those who wish to participate, and ample space to kick a hoof. If you have your own drum, you are welcome to bring it for the opening and closing parts of the ceremony. We will also offer tea (and on occasion, cacao).
Some gatherings may also carry a theme, inspired by the time of year, astrological movements, or the collective moment we are moving through together.
Collaborations with other musicians are always welcome.
